As the temperatures start to drop this fall, we usually think about football and tailgating. This year may be a little different from a football standpoint, but our Paddle Tennis program is going strong! This is our 4th year having courts and last year we had more participation than the previous two years combined. Please read continue reading for some information about the upcoming paddle season.

More details will come out about our member/guest, member/member, and the other activities. Be sure to mark your calendars!

Member/Member
This will be a one-day event. The format of this will be a little different than in previous years. We want to grow the sport and expose people to different playing styles. The goal is to have more participation and mix up the playing styles.  No need to pick a partner for this because we are going to pair a more experience player with someone who has not played as much.

Open Play
We are going to have one night designated for open play. We will ask for Sign-ups ahead of time so we know how to pair the players. All levels are welcome!

Box Leagues
This league is composed of Boat Club, LCC and Big Springs so we get great participation. This is a winners up/losers down format and it was a lot of fun as well as having very competitive matches on all courts.

One of our primary goals this year is to grow the sport in both the number of people that get introduced to the game, but also the time everyone spends on the court. If you are new to the sport and want to try it out there are plenty of demo paddles in the pro-shop. Please let us know any suggestions you have for improving the Paddle tennis experience. Here is a short video which will show you why the sport is so fun to play.
